InfoLetter #4 - Good Health is Real Wealth
A Limited Belief System Restricts Healing Potential
By Annabel Fisher, EFT-Advanced.
As an EFT Practitioner - working on my own health, and with clients - I’ve come to realize beliefs can become so all-consuming that we focus only on the belief and the emotions generated by the belief, that ultimately, we stall the possibility of recovery. There isn’t an opportunity for healing to take place. Emotional energy manifests itself on a physical level in the body. In other words, I was in no place to heal when I felt so let down by my body: every cell of my body was resonating resentment and dis- appointment. Unresolved stress on any level - in my case, feeling let down - impacts the body, exhausting the adrenal glands and compromising the immune and nervous systems, and plants the seeds for serious illness and chronic pain.
Safe, Gentle Detox For Sensitive Bodies
By Carolyn Dean M.D., N.D.
I’ve been writing and speaking about detoxification for decades. Ever since I realized that the purity of the body was being breached beyond our ability to detoxify, I have advocated safe and gentle ways to cleanse. Cleansing is always the first step in any healing diet or supplement program. Sure, you can start eating organic and taking supplements, but if you don’t detoxify it’s like putting pure water into a dirty pot. The dirt prevails. Let’s first clean out the pot.
Eating Out With Food Allergies
By Debbie Sarfati H.H.C.
Eating out at restaurants can definitely be challenging for anyone with food allergies. But having allergies certainly does not mean a life sentence of boring or only home-cooked fare. Here are some tips to help you dine out more easily, while also being sure that your dietary needs are met.
Heal Disease, Flush Toxins & Rejuvenate
By Jini Patel Thompson
This brand new healing protocol utilizes a number of key substances and processes to heal a wide variety of diseases, flush out toxins and take your health to the next level of vibrancy. It’s a protocol that builds upon the Raw Milk Cure I explored in the first issue of this Infoletter. The four steps of the protocol combine the benefits of an elemental diet, a raw juice nutrient infusion and detox, along with specific herbs to support the endocrine system and major organs of detoxification and circulation. This is one of the main benefits of this Infoletter - you get to be one of the first to try this new protocol with me, test it, and help to refine it, long before it's available in any of my books.
Spring Vitality
By Lisa Marie Battacharya, R.H.N.
Spring is considered a Yang season; one that has ascending and expansive qualities (think of bursting cherry blossoms). The foods that grow at this time naturally resonate with all of these factors. It is important, as natural beings, to honour and embrace these natural rhythms and be in tune with our natural surroundings, emphasizing in our diets what grows natively and seasonally. This benefits our own health as well as the health of our planet. Includes a delicious recipe for Spring Salad and Dressing/Marinade.
Destination: Change
By Nicole Paull
If you’re ill, part of getting better is figuring out how you got sick in the first place. You need to ferret out the causative roots of your dis-ease. Having done that, you still have the challenge of addressing those roots and that almost always involves change. To give a simplistic example: if years of eating junk food contributed to your digestive woes, one of the things you’re going to have to actually do is change your eating habits. Sometimes, though, we get paralyzed. Intellectually, we know we need to change, but actually changing feels about as easy as traversing Siberia in January, barefoot and wearing a bikini.
